Keighley firefighters attacked in Victoria Park
A KEIGHLEY fire crew came under fire while tackling a rubbish blaze in Victoria Park.
About 20 youths threw objects at the firefighters on Saturday evening at about 8.30pm.
Watch commander Andy Quinn said the youths, believed to be teenagers, shouted abuse at the firefighters.
He said: “The fire was something and nothing, but there were a few missiles thrown at us. Nobody was hurt.”
