AN INGROW woman pulled from the Leeds-Liverpool Canal had attempted to take her life several times before, an inquest has heard.
Veselinka Rawlinson, 57, of Halifax Road, was found in the water at Saltaire on Sunday, October 12, and died at Bradford Royal Infirmary the following day.
The former hairdresser , who was widowed and lived in supported housing, was known to the police through her history of self-harm and significant mental health issues, Assistant Bradford Coroner Mary Burke said.
The inquest, on Friday, was adjourned pending further inquiries.
