EXCITEMENT is building for the first Keighley Brick Show this Saturday!

Bricks 4 Kidz is hosting the charity event and promises lots of Lego for children to play with.

The event at Central Hall, Alice Street, from 10am to 4pm, will have many Lego models on display as well as bricks for sale.

The day involves Keighley’s Bricks 4 Kids franchise holder Keith Moran, from Silsden, and former Cross Roads man Mark Pullen, who holds the franchise for Calderdale.

The event will raise money for the charity Fairy Bricks, which supports sick children, and for Oakworth Scout Hannah Wedge, who is going to the World Scout Jamboree in Japan next year.

There is also a model making competition on the theme of ‘exploring’, with three separate classes for children aged up to 14.

Children are invited to build a model at home and take it along for judging before 2pm.

Admission to the Brick Show is £2 for adults, and free for accompanied children. Call 07736 298782 for further information.
