STUDENTS from a Keighley school are heading to Scotland.
Year seven pupils at Oakbank are taking part in trips to the school's outdoor centre, in Kirkcudbright.
They are staying at the seaside timber barn in groups of 15 and participating in activities aimed at developing their confidence and communication and teamwork skills.
"It is an exciting prospect for year seven students and we feel it demonstrates our pledge to offer pupils the broadest range of educational opportunities," said Hannah Borkala, the school's marketing and event officer.
"It is a chance for them to form new friendships with their group and develop positive relationships with staff’."
Activities include beach games, a visit to an ice-cream factory, and trips to an adventure playground with assault course and a wildlife conservation park.
Also, the students are responsible for cooking and cleaning.
