A CULLINGWORTH man who organised an international UFO conference has hailed the event as a huge success.
Nearly 200 people from across the world attended the annual three-day British Exopolitics Expo in Leeds.
Highlights included a talk by Canadian researcher, Grant Cameron, who spoke about the influence of extraterrestrial contact on musical artists, such as the late John Lennon.
Organiser, Anthony Beckett, executive producer of Exopolitics Great Britain, said: “We had a great weekend and received lots of positive feedback.
“It’s been ten years since I attended the first exopolitics conference, held near Washington DC. I went because I was fascinated by the subject of UFOs but there was very little information outside of a few good books. Attending conferences allowed me to learn so much more about the subject, hear witness testimony and see where the study of it was going. – even if absolute proof of extraterrestrial visitation remained elusive.”
