Steeton
The St Stephen’s harvest supper and auction of produce resulted in a £500 donation for Water Aid.
Gillian Wilson led a walk around Steeton on October 12, which was much enjoyed, as was an excellent afternoon tea served in the church hall afterwards, with musical accompaniment provided by John Hammond. This event raised almost £300 for Christian Aid.
St Stephen’s Ladies Fellowship enjoyed a talk by Dale Keaton, who brought along a selection of his favourite things from various Bradford museums. Items ranged from hats and corsets to dresses and shoes. Mr Keaton’s enthusiasm richly entertained the audience.
