A 45-YEAR-OLD man who caused £150 damage to raised decking and flower pots by reversing his car into a patio area at his father's home in Glusburn is to be sentenced at Bradford Magistrates' Court along with other matters.

Andrew Vaux admitted criminal damage at the address in Green Lane on October 5, and also resisting arrest, when he appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The court heard he reversed his car into the patio area following an angry meeting with members of the family. When the police were called, he struggled violently and had to be restrained.

Vaux, of Lees Close, Cullingworth, will be sentenced at the Bradford court on November 12.
