There will be a service of Holy Communion for All Saints Day at St Andrew’s Church at 8.15am and 10am on Sunday, and there is a service of Said Evening Prayer for All Souls at 6pm. The Parish Communion service will start at 9.45am on November 9, with the Act of Remembrance at the war memorial at 10.55am.
The Village Pump, the over-50s group, meets in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church from 2pm to 3.30pm on Wednesday.
The 2015 village calendars will be on sale in the institute between 11am and noon on Saturday. They are £5.50 (£6.50 with envelope) and all proceeds go towards the upkeep of the institute.
Get ready for the Christmas festivities and learn party dances from a professional coach in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church from 1.30pm to 3pm on November 17. The cost is £2, including refreshments. Contact myself on 01535 635880 for further information.
