KEIGHLEY CIVIC LUNCHEON CLUB
The first lunch of the winter season was held at Keighley Civic Centre earlier this month.
A new member joined 23 existing members to hear Karen Jones, a fundraiser for the Oxenhope-based Sue Ryder Manorlands hospice, describe the life and work of Lady Ryder with a talk and slides.
Mrs M Hughes gave a vote of thanks.
The next meeting will be on November 4 at Keighley Civic Centre, when the speaker will be Adrian Braddy, editor of The Dalesman.
