THE trial date of a 34-year-old man accused of murder and attempted murder has been set.
Grzegorz Dzierzak, of Chapel Lane, Keighley, is accused of murdering Edgaras Masliuskas, 23, at his home early on Sunday.
He is also charged with attempting to murder a second man, also aged 23.
Dzierzak appeared via video link from Leeds Prison for the ten-minute hearing and spoke only to confirm his name and spoke via a Polish interpreter.
No indication of plea was given at today's hearing at Bradford Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear before the court on January 19 next year for a plea and case management hearing.
Dzierzak's trial date was also set for April 15, 2015, also to be held at Bradford Crown Court.
Police were called to the address by the ambulance service shortly before 4am on Sunday.
They found two men with stab wounds. Mr Masliuskas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second man is in hospital, where his condition is described as serious but improving.
