BERNARD Wrigley is the next performer headlining the regular Lothersdale Live session.
Bernard started out in folk clubs in the mid-1960s, and since then his career has always combined singing and acting.
He has appeared in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Phoenix Nights, Dinnerladies and Coogan’s Run.
He is also acted in films like Brassed Off and several Alan Bennett movies, as well as radio plays.
Along with live performances that include monologues, songs, instrumentals and silliness, there has been a steady stream of albums.
Bernard can be seen at the Lothersdale Village Hall on November 15, from 8.30pm.
Visit lothersdalelive.org.uk or call 01535 637114 to book tickets, which cost £9 and £11.
