FOUR people have been arrested following a night of violence in Keighley which saw a string of attacks across the town.
The arrested men – two aged 20 and the others 19 and 23 – were held on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with an alleged incident in Belgrave Road on Bonfire Night, in which a fire engine had its windscreen smashed.
The men were later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
During the night, unconnected incidents were reported at locations elsewhere across the town.
A baby was injured after an attack on a family by a stone-throwing gang in Lund Park.
And the fire station itself was targeted by yobs, forcing brigade bosses to close the site and temporarily move the crews and appliances to the police station in Royd Ings Avenue.
The previous evening, Mischief Night, had also seen a series of incidents.
