Cowling Companions will meet on Wednesday in the Village Hall at 2pm, when John Whitaker will talk about Whitakers Chocolatiers.
Admission is £2.50, including home-made refreshments. This will be the last meeting of 2014, and next year there will be a varied programme of speakers and slide shows.
Names are still needed from members for the Christmas hot turkey lunch on December 13 in the village hall. Vegetarians can be catered for. Call 01535 632023 to give names.
