TRADES Union members and supporters flocked to a movie at Keighley Picture House last weekend.
The local branch of the union Unite sponsored Keighley Film Club’s screening of Still The Enemy Within.
The film portrayed the true story of the longest strike in UK history, when miners when took on Margaret Thatcher’s government in the mid-1980s.
Film club spokesman Alan Watkinson said: “Still The Enemy Within outlined the brutal forces of the state that were aligned against workers striving to protect their interests.
“The new showtime of the third Sunday of the month at 6pm seems to be popular.”
There will be no Sunday film next month.
