A WORLD leader in the field of asteroseismology and magnetic stars addressed the latest meeting of a Keighley group.
Professor Donald Kurtz was guest speaker at a meeting of Keighley Astronomical Society in Keighley Civic Centre.
Dominic Curran, the group's secretary, said: "Don's lecture covered his research in asteroseismology, as well as discussions around planets, exoplanets, habitable zones and the physics of interstellar motion.
"Don’s explanation of stars made it clear that he most likely knows everything there is to know about a star. We hope to have him pay us a return visit in the near future."
