A service of Holy Communion will take place at St Andrew’s Church at 8.15am and 10am on Sunday. Cross Hills & District Fellowship of Churches is presenting a Christmas Nativity Pageant in Sutton village and park at 4pm on Sunday. The Christmas Carol Service by Candlelight will take place at 4pm on December 21. Children are invited to attend dressed as angels, shepherds, wise men or Nativity animals and be part of the tableau.
A Christmas coffee morning is being held at Farnhill Methodist Church from 10am to 11.30am on Saturday. Coffee and mince pies will be served and there will be various stalls.
The Village Pump – the over-50s group – meets in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church on Wednesday, from 2pm to 3.30pm. This is the last meeting of the year. The 2015 meetings begin on January 7 with a New Year party.
