HOW considerate of Keighley Town Council to apologise for their mistakes in 2012/13 and to accept the findings of the independent investigation – Keighley Town Council issues public apology (Keighley News, December 4).
That will keep many people in Keighley nice and warm in winter when they cannot afford a bag of coal after paying their Council Tax bill.
May I ask who is to pay the £73,000 bill generated by the investigation?
Will it be Keighley residents via their Council Tax bills or will it be the members of Keighley Town Council who made the mistakes?
