The James William Dawson Christmas bequest will be administered to all residents aged 70 and over at St Andrew’s Methodist Church on Saturday, from 10am to noon. This will probably be the last time the event is held. Festive refreshments will be provided.
There will be carol singing around the village tomorrow and on Monday. Meet at St Andrew’s Church at 6pm.
A candlelit carol service with augmented choir takes place at St Andrew’s Church at 6pm on Sunday.
A Christingle service will be held at Holy Trinity Church at 4pm on Christmas Eve, and there is midnight communion at 11pm.
A service will take place at St Andrew’s Church at 10.30am on Christmas Day. A collection will be taken for Action For Children.
A New Year social will be held at St Andrew’s at 10.30pm on New Year’s Eve, with a service at 11.30pm.
