The winning design
CHRISTMAS cards sent by South Craven MP Julian Smith feature a design by a 10-year-old competition winner.
Matthew Garth's entry, depicting a sleigh being pulled by sheep, was chosen from hundreds to feature on the front of the card.
Designs by three runners-up – Olivia Whitaker, Jack Midgley and Emily Pickersgill – are carried inside.
"Every year the standard of entries for my Christmas card competition increases and Matthew’s colourful and clever design stood out," said Mr Smith.
"I want to thank all the pupils and schools who took part."
