ALMOST 200 children in Eastern Europe will have a better Christmas as a result of work by pupils and parents at Keighley-district schools.
They have filled 194 shoeboxes with gifts, which will go to children who are less fortunate.
Harden, Keelham and Wilsden primary schools were involved in the project, filling the boxes with goods including toiletries and household items.
The project was organised by Bradford West Rotary Club.
The boxes will be transported to countries such as Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
