PARISH councillors have been warned of a spike in the number of dog fouling complaints reported in and around their village.

Worth Valley ward councillor Rebecca Poulsen informed Oxenhope councillors of the problem last Wednesday. (January 7)

"The amount of dog fouling that is being reported everywhere is incredible," she said. "It's said to have been happening in Station Road, Best Lane and in some areas around the school.

"The wardens were out yesterday to have a look and said that Station Road was the worst affected place."
