Glusburn Institute
A FARNHILL woman's 60th-birthday celebrations raised £1,131 for Cancer Research UK.
Shirley Arnott held a party at Glusburn Institute and requested donations in lieu of cards and gifts.
Live music was provided by the band Ofay and there was a raffle.
Catering was provided by Skipton Rugby Union Club.
Mrs Arnott, of Starkey Lane, and her husband John pay tribute to everyone for their support.
They also thank all those who donated raffle prizes, including Cross Hills Handyman shop, Allan Jeffries at Shipley and Tesco, Skipton.
