'HEALTHCARE heroes' have been thanked by their bosses.
Bradford District Care Trust board members invited award-winning staff to a meeting, where tribute was paid.
Nearly 40 nursing and corporate employees who earned local, regional or national awards last year attended.
Among them was the cleaning team from the Airedale Centre for Mental Health, in the grounds of Airedale Hospital at Steeton, which won a Golden Service Award for best cleaned premises.
Trust chief executive, Simon Large, said: "Our staff are extremely passionate about providing the best possible care to people living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
"The board is proud that many have been recognised in 2014 for their dedication, creativity and innovation, something which we see daily at the trust."
