A NURSERY is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Braithwaite.
Children, staff and parents at Keighley Community Nursery marked the milestone by producing a ‘wonder wall’ of images from across the past decade.
There was also a balloon launch, children’s activities and free cake.
The nursery was opened at Braithwaite Grove in January, 2005, by the then manager Lillian Miller.
It had previously been located at Marlborough Street, in Keighley.
In 2013 the nursery was expanded to offer childcare for up to 85 youngsters per session.
“Last year we received a good Ofsted judgment across all areas and the nursery continues to go from strength to strength,” said manager Joanna Smith.
“The nursery also boasts several long-standing staff members, some of whom have been employed by the not-for-profit company since it was at its original location.”
There will also be a relaunch of the nursery website and rebrand of its logo.
