A TEENAGER caught committing motoring offences while riding a motorbike in Highfield had his vehicle confiscated by police.

Officers from the Bradford District Antisocial behaviour bike team spotted the 18-year-old riding the bike without a helmet along Devonshire Street on Tuesday afternoon. (February 24) A police spokesman said: "The officers were able to record the use of the bike using a hand held camera and followed it to Redcliffe Street, where it was lost from view on a playing field.

"The man was located a short time later on foot and denied riding the motorcycle. He then changed his story and claimed a friend had ridden his bike away from the scene.

"One of the officers searched a nearby garden and located the same motorcycle. The man was interviewed and reported for motoring offences and the vehicle was seized.

"The man can expect to be dealt with at court for the motoring offences."
