YOUNG photography enthusiasts in and around Keighley have been encouraged to put their talent to the test by taking part in a competition.
The local section of the national RIBI Young Photographer Competition has been arranged by the Rotary Club of Keighley.
Organisers are looking for each entrant to submit three photographs, based on the theme: "Light up the Community".
These should preferably be submitted electronically. Age categories are seven to 10, 11 to 13 and 14 to 17.
There will be an exhibition of the best entries, judges' comments and an announcement of the winners at 1pm on April 19 in Laycock Village Hall.
The entry fee is £2.50 and the winner of each age group will go through to the district stage of the contest. The closing date for entries is April 4.
To pick up an entry form, people should e-mail competitions@keighleyrotary.org or call 01535 603184 to contact Judy Hazlehurst.
