TIMINGS have been announced this morning for the arrival in the Keighley district of the Tour de Yorkshire.
The international cycle race comes through this area on May 3, as part of the third stage from Wakefield to Leeds.
The event is being held in the wake of last summer's hugely successful Tour de France Grand Depart, which brought millions of visitors to the Yorkshire region.
Estimated timings locally on May 3 are Oxenhope 2.56pm (41 kilometres per hour), 3.04pm (39kph) and 3.12pm (37kph); Haworth 3pm (41kph), 3.08pm (39kph) and 3.16pm (37kph); Oakworth 3.04pm (41kph), 3.12pm (39kph) and 3.21pm (37kph); Holme House 3.08pm (41kph), 3.16pm (39kph) and 3.25pm (37kph); Cote de Goose Eye 3.11pm (41kph), 3.19pm (39kph) and 3.28pm (37kph); Sutton 3.14pm (41kph), 3.23pm (39kph) and 3.32pm (37kph) and Silsden 3.21pm (41kph), 3.30pm (39kph) and 3.40pm (37kph).
