WHEN will people, and particularly the highways department, learn speed cushions, as they call them, do not slow vehicles down?
They only damage vehicles.
Now, if Bradford Council has any sense, it will try chicane instalment outside or through Oldfield village.
Highways has now spent a fortune on installing these hated devices all the way from West Lane to the top of North Dean Avenue, making Braithwaite a ghetto. No consultation has ever been held with anybody since 2008, when they started building on waterlogged land off North Dean Avenue.
It is definitely the fault of Bradford Council for the rise in vehicles on our roads by not altering the infrastructure first. Hence, very soon, Keighley will be gridlocked or flooded.
