AN ANNUAL Faith Trail is being held in Keighley.

Churches and mosques will open their doors to promote greater understanding between different faiths.

The March 14 event is being organised by Keighley Interfaith Group.

"This is an opportunity for people to find out what the inside of some of our churches, mosques and the Buddhist centre are like," said a spokesman.

"People will be able to look round the places, guided by those who attend them, and find out a bit more about the groups and their beliefs.

"Participants can visit as many, or as few, of the venues as they wish."

The trail includes Keighley Shared Church at 1pm; the Shah Jalal Mosque, Temple Row, 1.25pm; St Anne's RC Church, North Street, 1.50pm; Madina Mosque, Spencer Street, 2.15pm; Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Lawkholme Crescent, 2.40pm, and the World Peace Cafe, Lawkholme Crescent, at 3pm, where refreshments will be served.
