A KEIGHLEY tourist attraction wants to reunite a lost ring – thought to be a wedding ring – with its rightful owner.

Managers of East Riddlesden Hall say the ring, found recently in a flowerbed in one of the hall's gardens, is inscribed with a message and have asked the owner to get in touch with them.

Carla Weatherall, visitor experience manager at East Riddlesden Hall, said: "One of our garden volunteers found it while digging in a flowerbed.

"We don't know how long it's been there, but we would love to get it back to it's owner.

"Part of a message inside the ring reads, 'To Elaine from Paul' and there is also a date which we presume was the date of the wedding.

"We'd like whoever owns the ring to contact us and give us that date in order to collect it."

People who know who the ring may belong to can call 01535 607075 to get in touch with East Riddlesden Hall.
