TRAINS between Shipley and Skipton via Keighley are now running again after a car flipped on its roof on the railway line, severely disrupting services earlier this morning.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash, which involved a Skoda Octavia from AA Carz, in Victoria Street, Shipley.
A person reported to have been in the vehicle was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with head injuries, according to a Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman.
One person at the scene said the car had gone through a fence at the taxi compound and rolled down a slope, about 40ft, and gone onto its roof. Northern Rail confirmed it received a report of a car on the track at 9.15am.
Passengers reported that an announcement was made over the tannoy shortly after 9.30am at Forster Square station apologising for delays.
