POLICE cordoned off South Street outside the King's Head pub in Keighley on Sunday night after a 4x4 car crashed into a telegraph pole.
The accident happened just before 10pm and a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Firefighters from the town were called to the scene by police, reporting the vehicle being on flames.
The road was shut off until the area had been made safe.
