KEIGHLEY'S Morrisons store has been raising cash for the Bradford burns research unit this week.
The Worth Way outlet, together with the company’s other stores across the district, held bucket collections on Monday to mark the 30th anniversary of the Bradford City fire disaster.
Schoolchildren were also bag packing at each supermarket the same day.
And staff at Morrisons’ head office made donations to the unit from a dress-down day plus there was a raffle.
It is hoped an anniversary appeal will raise £300,000 for the Bradford Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU), which was set-up after the tragedy at Valley Parade on May 11, 1985.
