EXLEY Head women have raised £310 for Keighley Parkinson’s Support Group.
Representatives from Exley Head Methodist Ladies Circle recently visited the support group to hand over a cheque to group member Pat Phillips.
The Ladies Circle had raised the money at a lecture by Keighley historian Ian Dewhirst earlier in the spring.
Mr Dewhirst, writer of the Keighley News’ weekly column Memory Lane, gave one of his popular talks on Keighley during the Second World War.
The talk raised £620, with half going to the Ladies Circle funds.
