SILSDEN trials bike legend Dougie Lampkin wowed the crowds at a major three-day festival.

The 12-times world champion displayed his skills at the annual Cholmondeley Pageant of Power in Cheshire.

Riding his Vertigo Combat, he performed a range of stunts for the huge crowds.

The event also featured classic cars and fly-pasts by a Vulcan bomber.

Pageant director, James Hall, said: "Thanks go to Dougie who enthralled the crowds with some nerve-wracking stunts on the track and out on the lake.

"Over the years he has become famous for his extraordinary exploits in an ever growing range of unusual venues and we were delighted that Cholmondeley was the latest setting for him to put his skills to the test.

"It was a simply fantastic three days, with the best content we have ever had."

Dougie had spent several days at the Cholmondeley estate rehearsing for the event and was filmed for the BBC's The One Show.

"Cholmondeley is an amazing place," he said.

"Having the chance to experiment with riding on water was a first for me!

"I need to thank my Red Bull team for supporting me."
