COWLING Primary School pupil Annaliese Querns will take centre stage at the village gala next month.
She will be supported at the event on Saturday, July 25, by Holly Emmott, Lucy Coates, William Cluny, Amelia Best and Daisy Toothill.
This year's gala is being organised by five mums, who have chosen a 50s and 60s theme.
There will be a rock 'n' roll band and handicraft categories will include a rock 'n' roll photograph and a model or sculpture of a 1950s or 1960s bedroom.
Other attractions include children's races and a tug of war competition.
However, the gala festivities will start on the Friday evening, with a traditional game of Knurr and Spell.
