A PAIR of Manorlands fundraisers who have tied the knot were delighted to see their marriage celebrated in unmissable style.

A giant piece of land art – dubbed 'One man and his bride' – was created in a Stanbury field for Andrew Wood and Harriet Bevan, by members of Worth Valley Young Farmers.

The couple, both based at the Sue Ryder hospice, married on Saturday at Oxenhope's St Mary's Church.

Last year they were involved in the Fields of Vision project, which featured a 'One man and his dog' land artwork in the same Stanbury field to help promote the Tour de France.

In reference to this, their wedding invites featured an image of a groom and bride, inspiring Young Farmer Joe Holmes to team up with other group members to make the full size image.

The artwork was kept secret from Andrew and Harriet, who first saw it when being driven to their wedding reception.

Andrew is the eldest son of David and Julia Wood, of Oakworth, and Harriet is the only daughter of John and Valerie Bevan, from Oxenhope.

Best man was Thomas Ogden and ushers were Robert Wood – the bridegroom's brother – David Johnson and Matthew Binns.

Maid of honour was Lucinda Brabbins, bridesmaids were Jessica and Rebecca Ruppli, flower girl was Isabel Wood and pageboy Joseph Wood.
