A KEIGHLEY youngster has reached the final of a prestigious talent competition.
Gina Boyle will take part in the Performing Arts Festivals Championships at Pontefract on September 12.
The 13-year-old, from Low Laithe Fold, Laycock, is among several Bradford-district youngsters chosen from a Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire regional contest.
A spokesman for the competition said: "Gina really enjoys drama, dance, writing and singing. She has been at Stage 84 for four years.
"She attends Beckfoot School in Bingley, where she is doing well, and she loves her school life.
"Her ambition is to get into a stage school."
The championships feature dance, music, speech and drama and the winners in each category will receive £100 and a trophy.
