A RIDDLESDEN man is due to go on trial with five others next year charged with conspiring to supply heroin.
Mohammed Javed, 29, of Bradford Road – together with Arshad Khan, 42, of Beechwood Grove, Wibsey; Jhangir Asim Jhangir, of Sandford Road, Barkerend, Bradford; Anthony Harris, 34, of Island Road, Liverpool; Usman Khan, 27, of Ramsden Road, Rotherham, and Mohammed Zaheer, 38, of Clifton Crescent North, Rotherham – appeared before the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, at Bradford Crown Court.
All six are charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, namely heroin.
They will next appear at a plea and case management hearing on November 13.
A trial date was fixed, to start on February 15 next year.
All six defendants were granted conditional bail.
