Youth football round-up
LIVERSEDGE bowed out of the FA Youth Cup 5-4 after extra time following an entertaining end-to-end tie at North Ferriby United.
On target for Sedge were Brad Patefield and Aaron Rogers in the first half, an own goal in the second period and Robert Thomas in the additional period.
The Northern Under-19 Alliance League match between Thackley and Field was postponed just before kick-off time at Dennyfield due to torrential rain.
