A KEIGHLEY restaurant is celebrating winning a new award after receiving glowing reviews from its customers.
Khalid's Desi, in Low Mill Lane, has again picked up a certificate of excellence from review website Trip Advisor.
The restaurant, which is next to Keighley Railway Station and serves Kashmiri cuisine, was rewarded for the consistently high ratings given to it online by satisfied customers.
It also received this accolade in 2014, and has twice won the Keighley News Restaurant of the Year title.
Commenting on the latest recognition, Khalid's Desi general manager, Nabeel Khalid, said: “Winning the certificate of excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team, and we’d like to thank all of our past customers, who took the time to complete a review on Trip Advisor.
“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers."
The business first opened in the disused and previously derelict former nightclub property in 2012.
Mr Khalid said its location near the railway station is continuing to prove an advantage, adding the restaurant attracts diners from all over the world, thanks to the close proximity of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway attraction.
