THEY may not be The Chippendales, but Keighley rugby club members should still have fans flocking to buy their nude calendar in aid of a paralysed junior player.

Members of Keighley Rugby Union Football Club bared nearly all for a cheeky 2016 calendar, created to help 20-year-old Silsden man Nathan Cubitt.

In 2011, when he was just 16, Nathan broke his neck during a match while playing for his under 17s team.

His family and other supporters have since set up an appeal called the Nathan Cubitt Trust to raise money for his ongoing care costs.

The idea for the calendar came from Keighley RUFC strength and conditioning coach Scott Dyson. His brother, Haworth artist and photographer Craig Dyson, took the photos to illustrate it.

Scott said: "Nathan has maintained incredible positivity through adversity, and is an inspiration to all at Keighley RUFC.

"Naturally, the lads at his club downed clothes for all to see, creating a calendar to support him and raise some funds."

Craig's photos illustrating the calendar show the players training, working out, and even enjoying a drink in the bath. Viewers of a gentler disposition are promised nothing too X-rated!

Calendars can be bought from the club for £8 or via eBay, which is £9.99 to include postage. People can visit pitchero.com/clubs/keighleyrugbyunionclub for more details or krufccalendar.co.uk to buy a calendar.
