A LETTER from the Palace has crowned a Brownie pack project.
Girls from the 2nd Riddlesden group made congratulatory cards and sent them to the Queen when she became Britain's longest reigning monarch.
Elizabeth II clocked-up the record in September, when she surpassed Queen Victoria's 63 years, seven months and two days.
Now the Brownies have received a letter from Buckingham Palace on behalf of the queen thanking the youngsters for their best wishes.
"The girls enjoyed making the cards and it was lovely to receive the letter," said pack helper Dinah Whittingham.
