PLANS to build 147 homes on greenfield land near Airedale Hospital in Eastburn been given full planning approval.
The decision was made yesterday by Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeals committee.
The Miller Homes scheme, off Main Street, had already secured outline permission.
Planning agent Paul Butler told the meeting the scheme would provide a mixture of houses, from "first time buyers through to family houses".
He said: "It will provide a valuable contribution to your housing needs."
The meeting also heard the scheme included an emergency access to the hospital for ambulances, if the main entrance were to become blocked.
