WILSDEN councillors are working on ideas for how to spend windfall cash from a housing developer.
The developer of the Crack Lane estate has to donate several thousand of ‘section 106’ money to improve community facilities in the area.
Wilsden Parish Council heard that the first instalment of £27,943 had been received by Bradford Council, and £2,500 of this had been spent in Denholme.
Councillors were unclear whether the second instalment had yet been received.
Parish councillors are currently working on costings for potential projects in Wilsden, and were asked to be ready to submit concrete details ideas within a fortnight to Bradford councillors representing Bingley rural ward
