FALLFEST – the music and arts festival held in Glusburn each autumn – held its fifth annual general meeting last Wednesday.
Festival director, Sue Ingham, presented a report and was especially pleased to share the treasurer's report which highlighted that the community event was now sustainable.
She also made particular note of the terrific job done by the small but committed Fallfest team and said she was eager to encourage new blood and new ideas. Anyone interested in joining the team should ring 01535 632976.
The highlights of 2015 included headliner Clare Teal, the jazz legend who was brought up in Kildwick, a specially commissioned piece of theatre and a lighting installation projected on to Glusburn Institute throughout the week of the event.
Thanks were expressed to the sponsors and the team – who are busy planning for this year's event – would love to hear from any additional backers.
