STUDENTS at Oakbank School shocked by last November's terrorist atrocity in Paris have exchanged cards and messages with counterparts in the French capital.
Co-ordinated attacks across the city killed 130 people.
After discussing the tragedy, a year-eight tutor group at the Keighley school made cards to show their support for French pupils.
A link was set-up with a Paris school by tutor Lisa Foley, who is friends with an English teacher in the city.
"It was a lovely idea and really showed our students' compassion for other people," said Hannah Borkala, marketing and event officer at Oakbank.
"Some of the year-eight group are now planning to become pen friends with the French students."
