Manorlands senior fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson receives the donation from Alwyn Pickles
A CHARITY stalwart who asked for donations in lieu of presents for his 90th birthday raised £340.
Alwyn Pickles, who held a party at Newsholme Manor, Oakworth, split the money between Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Mr Pickles – a member of the Bronte Tractor Runs group, which supports both charities – thanked everyone who contributed.
Manorlands senior fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson said: "I would like to thank Alwyn for thinking of Manorlands to benefit from the money and also all his friends for donating."
