Man accused of baseball bat attack in Keighley street appears in court
A MAN accused of attacking another man with a baseball bat in a Keighley street has seen his case transferred to Bradford Crown Court.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said Aqib Ishaq, 20, was arrested after allegedly being involved in a confrontation with a 22-year-old man in Devonshire Street in the early hours of Sunday, February 7.
He appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
Ishaq, of Acres Street, Keighley, was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Crown Court scheduled for March 8.
