THE snowy conditions forced organisers of this year's Keighley Business Awards to postpone a launch event due to take place this afternoon. (March 4)
The launch for the 2016 awards was meant to be held at the Keighley College campus from 3pm to 5pm.
A spokesman for the awards steering committee said this morning: "With regret we have decided to cancel today’s launch event.
"Due to the weather we feel attendees may struggle to make it to the venue. As the steering committee we want the event to be well attended and as good as it possibly can be.
"The launch has been rescheduled for Friday March 18 2016 at the same time and location.
"We’re very sorry for any inconvenience but hope people understand our reasons for rescheduling."
This year's business awards will be held at Victoria Hall, Keighley, on June 17.
